If you haven’t heard, 5 Islamic militants have been granted bail at $20,000 each. What did they do? Well, it started with a note that was slipped out of the compound in New Mexico and made its way to a detective. “We are starving and need food and water.” Additionally, Police received word that a missing 3 year old was being help on the property. Police followed up, and what did they find?
When police entered the compound, they found 11 children ranging from age 1 to 15, along with the dead body believed to be that of one of the Islamic terrorists arrested, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj’s, missing son Abdul-Ghani. Why was the son missing you ask? Because he took his child from Georgia to perform an exorcism on him because he believed that he was possessed. He said that he was taking the child to the park, and never returned. Kidnapping much?
As for the children that were still alive, they were living in deplorable conditions, malnourished, and were being trained to carry out school shootings. This is some pretty crazy news, right? These guys should be locked up for a long time, right? Endangering the welfare of a child (11 counts), training children to carry out school shootings, whatever caused the 3 year old to die at way to young of an age, kidnapping, and who knows what else.
So, what does the judge do?
Judge Sarah Backus, an elected Democrat, set the bail for the Islamic terrorists who kidnapped at least 1 child (who ended up dead), were endangering the welfare of 11 others, and were training these children to commit school shootings as a form of jihad, at $20,000. Seriously? No, I did not leave off any zeros. For comparison sake, here is some info from Bailbondsnetwork.com.
“Marijuana charges and arrest can quickly escalate to significant felony levels if the person is found to be illegally growing marijuana which typically ends with a $20,000 bail bond being set. Possession of marijuana with the intent to sell starts with a $20,000 bond”
Yes, these men are receiving the same bail as someone who grows marijuana, a plant which is now legal in many states, cures a wide range of illnesses with no side effects, and has never caused a single overdose death. Let that sink in for a second. Growing a plant and kidnapping, endangering the welfare of children, and training kids to shoot up schools are on the same level.
Let’s not forget that this whole story has received nothing more than a quick mention on most major news networks. This is the kind of thing that makes people give up on both the justice system and the media. I truly hope that this story is followed up on, and that these “men” receive the jail time that they deserve.
