2017 was a very interesting year. I learned a lot from the left. Here are the top 5 things I learned.
It is NEVER OK to judge someone based on their religion, sex, or color………unless they are a Christian, male, and/or white. In those cases, it is OK to judge them, since all Christians are judgmental, all men are potential rapists, and all whites are racist.- Police are the only ones who should have guns, even though they are all violent racists and can’t be trusted to have guns.
- It is wrong to judge black people based on other black people that commit crimes (since it has nothing to do with them), but if you are white, you should are judged and should feel guilty about slavery because it is OK to judge all whites based on something that had absolutely nothing to do with them.
- Men can NOT be trusted to be around women, unless they identify as a woman. In that case, they are no longer a danger to women.
- Free speech doesn’t apply if what you are saying hurts someone’s feelings. If someone says something that hurts your feelings, it is OK to use violence against them.
These lessons were shoved down our throats by the left last year. Obviously, all of these ideas are insane. Why? Let’s look at each one.
- It is NEVER OK to judge someone based on their religion, sex, or color, PERIOD! The left has no problem criticizing people for being Christian, male, or white. Bernie Sanders told a man that he should not be holding a position with the government because he is a Christian. Imagine if someone said that to a Muslim! People would lose their minds! It isn’t OK to judge based on sex, unless you are a male. IN that case, you are probably a rapist. Are you serious? Do not judge black people by their skin, but white people are all racist. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.
- The left tells us that police are the problem, going around shooting black people for fun. Other than the fact that this has been proven to be completely false repeatedly, the left then goes on to say that nobody should have guns………except the police? Anybody else lost on that one? They are saying that the power hungry racists should be the only ones with guns.
- Let me just state a few facts here to show how insane the idea that whites should feel guilty about slavery is.
- White and black people both owned slaves. If whites should feel guilty about it, so should blacks.
- Roughly 6% of southern whites owned slaves. Factor in the north and only 1.4 percent of whites owned slaves…….at the height of slavery. Want an even crazier statistic to show how wrong the left is on this one. While the numbers vary between different studies, as high as 28% of free blacks owned slaves! That sounds crazy, but it really isn’t when you think about where they came from. They came from Africa, where slavery was a HUGE problem. White people didn’t go around Africa capturing slaves. They bough them. They were already slaves in Africa.
- I’m sorry, but saying that all men are potential rapists is no more true than saying that all women are potential rapists. Potential means that you have the ability to do something. Anybody can be a rapist. Do men commit more rapes? Statistics say yes, and it is probably true. But statistics also say that more black people commit crimes, and the left says that shows systematic oppression. Does that mean men are being systematically oppressed? The statistics show that over 90% of sexual assault criminals are men, while they make up less than half of the population. It seems to me that the left decides when they want statistics to matter, and when they don’t.
- I don’t think that the left understands what free speech is. Based on everything that I saw in 2017, they seem to think that it means you can’t say anything that offends THEM, but they can say whatever they want, and use violence if you disagree with them. Free speech means that you are free to speak, even if it hurts someone’s feelings.
It seems to me that the only reason the left has any power is because they are convincing people that you are a racist, sexist, or some other type of other bigot if you disagree with them. That is insane, and the sooner people start realizing how insane those ideas are, the sooner people can stop feeling guilty for doing nothing wrong.
